Welcome to Go Around Philippines

Welcome to Go Around Philippines. This is a website that will give you everything you need to plan your best trip to the Philippines.

We plan to provide specific itinerary, places to see, things to do, how to get travel there, where to stay and what to eat in the Philippines. We will even give you some local languages to remember so you can truly connect with the locals or at the very least make them smile at your effort to communicate.

We will also have a Facebook Group which will give you a platform to ask your specific questions and be answered by us or even your fellow travelers. We want to create the most comprehensive and in-depth travel planning website to plan a trip to the Philippines.

Some entries will be written by other travelers like me to give you a different perspective on traveling the country too.

About Me

My name is Angie and I’m a full-time travel and operations consultant for an international travel company. I was born and bred in the Philippines and after finishing my studies, I worked at a local travel agency for a few years. After that, I then became an online travel planner and currently an international travel consultant with my focus on the Philippines and Southeast Asian countries.

I’m currently in the Philippines on assignment and will be traveling around again once it is safe and allowed. This means I will be able to give you first-hand experiences and knowledge of the places I recommend.

Check out some of my favourite places visited!

I have also traveled to more than 30 countries and 3 continents so far. This means that I know how it feels to be overwhelmed with travel planning, make mistakes with itinerary and bookings, and even missed a few flights! This made me realize that I have to create a site for other travelers who are planning to travel to my own country to help them too. I want to make it as easy as possible to visit the Philippines.
