An overview of the Philippines:

Here is a map of the country with its major islands. The country is divided into 3 different group of islands; Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. To make it easier, the northern part where the capital city of Manila is locates is in Luzon. The central area is called Visayas, and the southern part is Mindanao.
